EVALUATION OF NITRATE REMOVAL FROM DAIRY WASTEWATER BY MEMBRANE DISTILLATION: A LABORATORY MODEL APPROACH

The dairy industry is considered one of the main industries not only in Iraq particular but throughout world. Different treatment methods have been used over time and different countries. Here, membrane distillation has to treat wastewater generated by this reduce burden on environment. In paper, direct was remove nitrates from discharged plants. This method easy operate, manage, many economic benefits. article using HACH instrument with all kits needed achieve tests. For determination samples Calmagite Colorimetric method. Method 8030. 100 mL Marked Dropping Bottle. All other instruments achieved according APHA, AWWA, WEF. On hand, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) watch formation nitrate surfaces. results obtained treating that were synthesized prepared characteristics showed ability up 80-85%, temperature affects value MD directly relative flux. treated water plays an important role determining percentage removal through membrane, as well latter's enjoying chemical physical features give them positive points its when liquid had raised.
